As I was approaching 100 MPH on the 210 West the other day I was thinking about what home renovations experts do for a living. It’s a 3 level approach.
1. First they get in there and gut the place of old carpet and rotten wood getting rid of all of the disgusting bacteria and mold in the house.
2. Then they look for faulty foundation, cracked support beams and holes where holes should not be and they restore everything to like-new again.
3. Then they go outside and put the new paint on and the flowers and trees making the place inviting and pleasing to the eye.
This is exactly what I do for a living, but the “houses” I work on are your heads. Bacteria is in the “carpet” in your mouth and it moves down into your blood stream and causes heart trouble and other diseases. Getting rid of it every 6 months handles that. While I am in there tearing out the “old carpet” I check for cracked support beams and faulty foundation (bone loss) and holes where there should not be any holes and I bring it all back to new again. Then we do the 1 to 10 test. 1 is the lowest score. You get a 1 if all living creatures run the other way when you crack a smile. 10 is the highest score. You get a 10 if you are turning heads with your dazzling perfect smile.
Depending on where you feel you land on that scale we can take a look at a fresh coat of “paint” and some well manicured shrubs for the front of your “property” if you would like.
The only difference here is that I use much smaller hammers and drills to do my work!
